*DORAMAS* Blood

Blood is a South Korean television series. It aired on KBS2 from February 16 to April 21, 2015 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 for 20 episodes.

Is starring Ahn Jae-hyun, Ji Jin-hee and Ku Hye-sun. This is the first starring role of Ahn Jae Hyun to a year after his debut as an actor.

This is actually the most watched drama of 2015 websites so far.

Synopsis:

Park Ji-sang (Ahn Jae-hyun) is a doctor specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery at Taemin Cancer Hospital, the best hospital of Seoul. He is also a vampire infected by a virus. Despite seeming cold and unfeeling, Ji-sang masks his soft heart and inner pain and yearns for closeness with people. He believes very strongly in the sanctity of human life, and suppresses his thirst for blood to treat terminally ill patients and save lives.

Among his colleagues is Yoo Ri-ta (Ku Hye-sun), a hotshot physician who entered medical school at the age of 17, and not only that but is also the niece of the chaebol group chairman who owns the hospital. Ri-ta is highly capable but snooty and prideful. She and Ji-sang share a past, also he eventually finds himself falling for her and together they will try to find an antidote for the virus, so he can be human. 

Ji-sang also gets drawn into a conflict between good and evil as he encounters Lee Jae-wook (Ji Jin-hee), a two-faced hospital chief who gains everyone's trust with his gentle demeanor, but inwardly harbors a dangerous ambition for power and a talent for cruelty.

For me this is quite a disappointing drama for many reasons. I'm really angry, the plot was creative and interesting but they managed to turn it into a common drama, not even a medical drama. I only finished watching because I wanted to know what happened with the virus.

Why I didn't like it? Well, let's start with the forced acting. Wow, all the actors were always overreacting and specially, I hate Ku Hye-sun acting in this drama. Also some fighting scenes are just ridiculous. The story line after a few episodes started to get predictable and even boring. At some point all the surgeries and medical stuff lost meaning. And the love line wasn't convincing at all.

I felt that one hour was like four hours and I was wasting my time. It actually took me four months to finish this drama.

Now, not all is bad. What I really enjoy it was Ji Jin-hee as a bad guy. It was quite scary sometimes. He did a good job portraying his character. Also the kid (Baek Seung Hwan) that plays Ji-sang when is younger was really good. I hope I'll see him more.

And last the plot. I really love that becoming a vampire was because of a virus and not the typical vampire legend!

Blood es una serie de televisión de Corea del Sur. Se emitió el KBS2 de 16 febrero al 21 abril del 2015, los lunes y martes a las 22:00 durante 20 episodios.

Está protagonizada por Ahn Jae-hyun, Ji Jin-hee y Ku Hye-sol. Este es el primer papel protagonista de Ahn Jae Hyun a un año después de su debut como actor.

Este es en realidad el drama más visto del 2015 en sitios web hasta ahora.

Sinopsis: 

Park Ji-sang (Ahn Jae-hyun) es un médico especializado en cirugía hepato-biliar-pancreato en el Hospital del Cáncer Taemin, el mejor hospital de Seúl. Él es también un vampiro infectado por un virus. A pesar de parecer frío e insensible, posee un corazón blando, mucho dolor debido a su pasado y esconde su anhelo a la cercanía con las demás personas. Él cree firmemente en la santidad de la vida humana, y suprime su sed de sangre para tratar a los pacientes con enfermedades terminales y salvar vidas.

Entre sus colegas tenemos a Yoo Ri-ta (Koo Hye Sun), un médico que entró en la escuela de medicina a la edad de 17, y no sólo eso sino que también es la sobrina del presidente del grupo chaebol(millonarios) que posee el hospital. Ri-ta es muy capaz, pero estirada y orgullosa. Ella y Ji-sang comparten un pasado, y finalmente también se enamora de ella y juntos tratarán de encontrar un antídoto para el virus, para que pueda ser un ser humano.

Ji-Sang también se ve arrastrado a un conflicto entre el bien y el mal cuando se encuentra con Lee Jae-wook (Ji Jin-hee), el jefe del hospital, que posee dos caras, ganandose la confianza de todos con su gentil actitud, pero por dentro alberga una ambición peligrosa por el poder y un talento para la crueldad.

Para mí este es un drama bastante decepcionante por muchas razones. Estoy muy enojada, la trama era creativa e interesante, pero se las arreglaron para convertirlo en un drama común, ni siquiera en un drama médico. Sólo terminé de verlo porque quería saber qué pasó con el virus.

¿Por qué no me gusta? Bueno, vamos a empezar con la actuación forzada. Wow, todos los actores siempre estaban reaccionando de forma exagerada y en especial, odie la actuación de Ku Hye-sun en este drama. También algunas escenas de lucha son simplemente ridículas. La línea de la historia después de algunos episodios empezó a ponerse predecible e incluso aburrida. Y en algún momento todos tipos de cirugías y cosas médicas perdieron significado. Y la línea de amor no fue convincente en absoluto.

Sentí que una hora fue como cuatro horas y que estaba perdiendo mi tiempo. En realidad me tomó cuatro meses para terminar este drama.

Ahora bien, no todo es malo. Lo que me gusta mucho fue la actuación de Ji Jin-hee como el chico malo. Era bastante tenebroso a veces. Hizo un buen trabajo retratando su personaje. También el niño (Baek Seung Hwan) que interpreta a Ji-sang cuando es más joven era realmente bueno. Espero verlo más en otros dramas.

Y por último la trama. Me encanta que convertirse en un vampiro fue a causa de un virus y no la leyenda típica de vampiros!
