*DORAMAS* Oh My Ghostess

Oh My Ghostess is a 2015 South Korean television series starring Park Bo-young, Jo Jung-suk, Kim Seul-gie and Lim Ju-hwan. It aired on tvN on Fridays and Saturdays at 20:30 for 16 episodes, since July 3 until August 22, 2015.

Synopsis:

Na Bong-sun (Park Bo-young) has an extremely timid personality and low self-esteem, she doesn't have any close friends, and is constantly getting reprimanded at her job as an assistant chef at Sun Restaurant. She also sees ghosts, thanks to a shaman grandmother, but she hates them because they are always scaring her and messing with her. She always try to avoid them by trying different things but she can't sleep well and always looks weak.

One day, Bong-sun gets possessed by a lustful virgin ghost named Shin Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gie). To make up for the lack of romance in her short life and believing that only by losing her virginity will she be able to "resolve her grudge" and move on to the afterlife, Soon-ae is determined to seduce as many men as she can by possessing various women. She finds the perfect vessel in Bong-sun and once she finds out her boss is a perfect candidate, she tries to stay at all cost in her body to seduce him. In that way she won't become an evil spirit since her time is running out.

Bong-sun's boss is the arrogant, but soft hearted, star chef Kang Sun-woo (Jo Jung-suk), whom she secretly has a crush on. Sun-woo hasn't dated anyone since getting his heart broken by his college friend Lee So-hyung (Park Jung-ah), who's now a TV producer. But when Bong-sun seemingly gets rid of her shyness and suddenly changes into a confident, dynamic woman, she finally catches his eye. 

Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding Soon-ae's death involves Sun-woo's brother-in-law, kindly police officer Choi Sung-jae (Lim Ju-hwan) who may not be what he seems. He hides a dark past with his adorable smile and good actions, while he does a lot of bad things behind people's back. But the true is that he's actually possessed by an evil spirit and has no power in his actions. Eventually the spirit starts showing his true self when he finds similar actions between Bong-sun and Soon-ae and the true behind his wife accident.

There’s always a drama you’ll be highly anticipating when the first news of the drama is released. Well, Oh My Ghostess was like that for me. 

With high expectations I started this drama, and I must admit that it fulfilled  each of them and even more. I laughed and cried, especially at the end, I didn't want it to end.

The chemistry between the two actors was amazing! They did a good job. Especially Park Bo-young since she had to act like Bong-sun and Soon-ae. Also Jo Jung-suk stole my heart. He looks so good in the uniform.

And who doesn't get attached to these characters? Both Bong-sun and Soon-ae. I loved to see how the friendship between these two girls grew.

Besides that, the performance of the actors that were her colleagues and the shaman that tried to make Soon-ae go to the beyond, were really good, they made this drama more enjoyable. 

Also the friendship formed between Soon-ae and the shaman, on more than one occasion brought me a smile and a few tears.

 

The scenes in the locker room and in the shower, they will always remain in my memory. It was a delight to my eyes, if you know what I mean.

To finish this review I just have to say that this drama left me speechless! 
It's simple, lovely and amazing!

Oh My Ghostess es una serie de televisión de Corea del Sur, protagonizada Park Bo-young, Jo Jung-suk, Kim Seul-gie y Lim Ju-hwan. Se transmitió por TVN los viernes y sábados a las 20:30 durante 16 episodios, desde el 3 de julio hasta el 22 de agosto del 2015.

Sinopsis: 

Na Bong-sun (Park Bo-young) tiene una personalidad extremadamente tímida y baja autoestima, ella no tiene amigos y está constantemente siendo reprendida en su trabajo como chef asistente en el Sun Restaurant. Ella también ve fantasmas, gracias a su abuela chamán, pero ella los odia porque siempre están asustándola y jugando con ella. Ella siempre trata de evitarlos probando cosas diferentes, pero debido a esto ella no puede dormir bien y siempre se ve débil.

Un día, Bong-sun es poseída por una fantasma virgen y lujuriosa llamada Shin Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gie). Para compensar la falta de romance en su corta vida y creyendo que sólo con la pérdida de su virginidad será capaz de "resolver su pena" y pasar a la otra vida, Soon-ae está decidida a seducir a tantos hombres como pueda al poseer varias mujeres. Ella encuentra el cuerpo perfecto en Bong-sun, y una vez que ella descubre que su jefe es un candidato perfecto, ella trata de mantenerse a toda costa en su cuerpo para seducirlo. De esa manera no se convertirá en un espíritu malo ya que su tiempo se acaba. 

El jefe de Bong-sun es el arrogante, pero de corazón blando, chef estrella Kang Sun-woo (Jo Jung-suk), quien secretamente está enamorada de él. Sun-woo no ha salido con nadie desde que su corazón fue destrozado por su amiga de la universidad Lee So-hyung (Park Jung-ah), que ahora es una productora de televisión. Pero cuando Bong-sun aparentemente se deshace de su timidez y de repente se convierte en una mujer dinámica y confiada, ella finalmente le llama la atención.

Mientras tanto, el misterio que rodea la muerte de Soon-ae implica al cuñado de Sun-woo, el amable oficial de policía Choi Sung-jae (Lim Ju-hwan) que aparenta ser algo que no es. Él esconde un pasado oscuro, con su sonrisa adorable y buenas acciones, mientras que hace un montón de cosas malas a espaldas de la gente. Pero lo cierto es que él está realmente poseído por un espíritu maligno y no tiene el poder en sus acciones. Eventualmente el espíritu empieza a mostrar su verdadero ser cuando encuentra acciones similares entre Bong-sun y Soon-ae y se empieza a descubrir la verdad detrás del accidente esposa.

Siempre hay un drama que uno espera con muchas ganas cuando salen las primeras noticias del drama. Bueno, Oh My Ghostess fue así para mí.

Con muchas expectativas empecé este drama, y debo admitir que cumplió con cada una de ellas e incluso mucho más. Reí y lloré, especialmente al final, ya que no quería que terminará.

La química entre los dos actores fue increíble! Hicieron un gran trabajo. Especialmente Pak Bo-young, ya que tenía que actuar como Bong-sun y Soon-ae. También Jo Jung-suk me robó mi corazón. Se veía tan bien con el uniforme.

Y es que ¿quien no se encariña con estos personajes? Tanto con Bong-sun como con Soon-ae. Me encanto ver como crecía la amistad entre estas dos chicas.

Además, la actuación de los compañeros de trabajo y la shaman que intentaba mandar a Soon-ae al más allá, fue impecable e hicieron que este drama fuera aún mejor. 

También la amistad que se formo entre Soon-ae y la shaman, en más de una ocasión ellas me sacaron una sonrisa y muchas lagrimas. 

Las escenas en los vestuarios y en la ducha, siempre quedaran en mi memoria. Fue un deleite para mis ojos, si saben a que me refiero.

Para terminar este review sólo tengo que decir que este drama me dejó sin palabras!
Es sencillo, encantador e increíble!
